Kevin Rodgers is a visual artist whose practice draws upon provisional formalism and the rhetoric of radical individualism. A 2008 graduate of the master of fine arts program at the University of Guelph, Rodgers is currently a 3rd year doctoral candidate in art and visual culture at the University of Western Ontario. His dissertation is titled Between the Acts: Deception, Dispersal and the Sculptural Promise of Spatiality. He has participated in the Banff Centre residency "The distance between our minds and thoughts equals the distance between our words and mouths," with Jan Verwoert and THE FREE, a group discussion with Nestor Kruger's Special Topics class (UOG) on What is Freedom?
