Understanding the Relationships between Positive Personality and Optimal Student Development: Phase 1 Survey
Incoming first year main campus undergraduate students will be contacted via email in the summer of 2010 inviting them to complete an online survey including items assessing their strength-based traits (e.g., hope, self-control) as well as their high school and university experiences. Students will be invited to participate in similar surveys over the course of their undergraduate education to explore how strength-based traits change over students’ educational careers and how these strengths both impact and are impacted by students’ university experiences.
