Summer Institute on Teaching with Technology
May 21 & May 22, 2014
9:00 am - 4:00 pm
May 21: Teaching Support Centre, The D.B. Weldon Library Room 122
May 22: Instructional Technology Resource Centre, Support Services Building Room 4210
The complex interactions of the classroom brings instructors, students, and technology together to create a learning environment where creating knowledge and meaning is more relevant and difficult than ever before. The Summer Teaching with Technology Institute’s goal is to provide instructors with information, tools, and support options for learning about and using educational technology.
The focus of this institute is to highlight the essential knowledge and skills required for the integration of technology into either your face-to-face or online courses. Participants need not have any experience with instructional technologies to attend; you need only to have an interest in how technology can enhance your curriculum. The institute's emphasis will be using teaching technologies in your instruction to improve your students’ learning. Please consider joining fellow faculty members for an interesting and educational two days. This workshop is jointly hosted by the TSC and the ITRC.
