Current Students
The Pro Seminars
The Pro Seminars are a series of workshop-style presentations that provide students with guidance about practical and professional matters. With the assistance of faculty members from a variety of disciplines and faculties, and from current and former students who are keen to share their experiences, the seminars address topics such as preparing scholarship applications, choosing a supervisor and examining committee, writing proposals and papers for academic conferences, submitting manuscripts to academic journals, applying for teaching positions in universities and community colleges, and the challenges of looking for employment outside the university. All Theory Centre students are strongly encouraged to attend these workshops, which meet during the Fall and Winter terms.
