OGS Payment Activation
As of August 1, OGS recipients will have access to a secure portal to activate their OGS award for payment at Western. Login at http://grad.uwo.ca/student and click on 'OGS Acceptance Process' from the main menu.
SSHRC recipients must download Form 1-Payment Activation (university portion) and Part II (SSHRC portion) from the SSHRC website, complete the forms, and submit Part I, Part II and the Notice of Award (received in the SSHRC package) to the School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Students should familiarize themselves with the Terms and Conditions of their award and are responsible for tuition payment each term. Note also that, in the case of an OGS award, you must complete the Notice of Acceptance and return it to the MTCU before June 30th, and in the case of a SSHRC award you must notify the Council within four weeks of the date on the Notice of Award of your decision to accept (or decline) the award.
Graduate Course Audit Form
Students wishing to audit a graduate course must complete and submit this form to the Theory Centre, where it may be signed and forwarded to SGPS.
Graduate Student Taking Undergrad Course Form
Graduate Students may take an undergraduate course without being charged additional tuition fees only if the course is needed to fulfill their degree requirements (eg: language course), and with the approval of the Graduate Chair and SGPS.
Master's Thesis Supervisor Approval Form
Candidates should have this form signed by their supervisor and submitted to the Theory Centre approximately 5 weeks prior to their anticipated defense date.
Doctoral Thesis Supervisor Approval Form
Candidates must have this form signed by their supervisor and submitted to SGPS approximately 5 weeks prior to their defense date.
