Dr. Robert McFarlane, is dedicated to the provision of excellence in patient care as well as providing a superb educational experience for our medical students, residents and fellows. We service a population base of 1.5 million people stretching over all of Southwestern Ontario. The Division possesses subspecialty expertise in hand surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, breast surgery, adult and paediatric craniofacial surgery, burn care, peripheral nerve surgery, aesthetic surgery, wound healing, and cutaneous malignancies. Resident Research Day was held on Friday, April 19th at Windermere Manor with Dr. John Semple as Visiting Professor.

A new breast reconstruction website has recently been created and contains the largest database of breast reconstruction surgeons in Canada. Dr. Haemi Lee, a recent alumnus at Western, is the Lead Investigator for the Collaboration Team.
