HULC Faculty and Staff
All surgeons at the Hand and Upper Limb Centre are certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in either Plastic or Orthopaedic Surgery. All surgeons have completed advanced upper extremity surgical fellowships in various places, including Duke University, Mayo Clinic, University of Toronto, Kleinert Hand Institute, Hawkins Steadman Clinic, Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic, University of Calgary, Royal North Shore Hospital, Hospital for Special Surgery, University of Iowa, HULC and Harvard University and they are appointed as teaching faculty to the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario. In addition most surgeons have additional graduate degrees, as either MSc, MEd, MHPE, or PhD degrees. The HULC Faculty also includes three PhD level basic scientists, who direct the various research labs on a day-to-day basis.
