Short bio: Dr. Jim Roth is the Director of the Hand and Upper Limb Centre and a Professor in the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario Medical School in 1975 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. During his orthopaedic surgery residency he spent one year as Dr. J.C. Kennedy’s research resident. Post-residency Fellowship was completed in Hand and Microsurgery at Duke University Medical School prior to starting practice at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario on January 1, 1982. In January of 1992, Dr. Roth moved to St. Joseph's Health Centre in London to establish and direct the Hand and Upper Limb Centre.
