Dr. Robert McFarlane, is dedicated to the provision of excellence in patient care as well as providing a superb educational experience for our medical students, residents and fellows. We service a population base of 1.5 million people stretching over all of Southwestern Ontario. The Division possesses subspecialty expertise in hand surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, breast surgery, adult and paediatric craniofacial surgery, burn care, peripheral nerve surgery, aesthetic surgery, wound healing, and cutaneous malignancies. The Western University Division of Plastic Surgery Annual Residents' Research Day was held this year on Friday, May 4th, and was a great success! Dr. Peter Lennox from the University of British Columbia was our visiting professor and Dr. Stephanie Power was the recipient of the Dr. R.M. McFarlane Resident Research Award for Best Research Presentation.
