Welcome to the website of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Western University. Our Division, founded in 1959 by
Dr. Robert McFarlane
, is dedicated to the provision of excellence in patient care as well as providing a superb educational experience for our medical students, residents and fellows. We service a population base of 1.5 million people stretching over all of Southwestern Ontario. The Division possesses subspecialty expertise in hand surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, breast surgery, adult and paediatric craniofacial surgery, burn care, peripheral nerve surgery, aesthetic surgery, wound healing, and cutaneous malignancies. Welcome to our new PGY1's! We are happpy to have Dr. Logan McGinn from the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and Dr. Jessica Truong from Western join our team.

The Division's annual Resident Research Day was another success! Held at King's College again this year on May 15th, Dr. Carolyn Levis from McMaster University was our Visiting Professor.

A breast reconstruction website is available which contains the largest database of breast reconstruction surgeons in Canada. Dr. Haemi Lee, a Western alumnus, is the Lead Investigator for the Collaboration Team.
