National Day of Action, All Out Feb. 1!
Get on the Bus to Toronto! Join thousands of students and make your voice heard! Meet at the Grad Club @ 8:30am for FREE COFFEE. Bus leaves @ 9am, Returns to London at 6pm. Please come to the SOGS office to sign up. Also, there will be a fax off event on campus at the UCC main floor. Please come out and support the movement.

Bus Pass Distribution, Winter 2011
Bus passes will be available starting on December 12. A special distribution centre will be set up in the Grad Club on January 3 (12 - 4 pm) and January 4 (10 am - 4 pm). Be sure to bring your UWO student card.

SOGS office Closure
SOGS Office will be closed from noon on December 23 until January 9, 2012. Happy holidays!

Income Tax Clinic
Income Tax clinic is operating now from March 21 - 25, 9 am - 5 pm daily. Both walk-ins and appointments are welcome. To book an appointment go to: http://www.usc.uwo.ca/tax/main/clinic.php. Act quickly. Since this is a free service, spots will be filled quickly.

SOGS Health Plan
Full-Time Graduate Students with alternative health coverage are welcome to opt-out of the SOGS Health Plan Opt-Out at https://grad.uwo.ca/student/index.cfm
Part-time students are not automatically included on the health plan and must submit a completed opt-in form along with payment to the SOGS office by the deadline.
Students on leave and Post-Doctoral Fellows are also eligible for the health plan. Please visit the SOGS website for further details or feel free to drop by the SOGS office before September 31. For more information visit http://www.uwo.ca/sogs/Benefits/

International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
At the beginning of every academic year, the Federation travels around the province to locals during orientation events to issue International Student Identity Cards (ISIC) to members. The International Student Identity Card gives students discounts in countries across the globe and here at home it serves to cut the cost of VIA Rail and Greyhound tickets and other travel services. ISIC would be distributed at our campus in September 19-20, 2011. Students, who are unable to collect ISIC card from Grad Club, can come to the SOGS office (UCC 260).

SOGS Office hours and Bus Pass
Summer 2011 SOGS Bus Passes are now available in the SOGS office Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 daily. On April 28, ONLY the office will remain open until 5:30 pm for bus pass distribution. Office will be closed on April 22. Your student card is required in order to obtain a bus pass. The cost of the bus pass is added to your tuition fees. You've already paid for it, so come and get it.

The 2011-12 SOGS Presidential Election was held on March 8-10, 2011. The ratified election results are as follows:
