Physics and Astronomy scoop SLOME award

When the Department of Physics and Astronomy puts on up a display, it is more than charts and graphs. You'll likely see levitating magnets, or maybe you'll be spinning on a stool demonstrating angular momentum. These are the engaging activities which won the department the Skills London, Oxford, Middlesex, Elgin (SLOME) award for best display. SLOME is an an event held each year in early May at the Western Fair for elementary and high school students to explore future career paths.
