Master's of Environment and Sustainability

Western Science's professional Master's in Environment and Sustainability is designed to provide students with the practical skills required for a career in environmental sciences and sustainability. Through a combination of course-based and interdisciplinary learning and a work term, the MES program prepares our students for leadership roles in industry, non-governmental organizations, or in a government department.

Master's of Data Analytics

The Master of Data Analytics (MDA) is designed to produce professionals ready to pursue an analytics-focused career within the public and private sectors. The MDA program takes students from a range of backgrounds and provides them with the technical skill-sets required in the field of data analytics as well as the opportunity to gain practical experience by applying those skills in an organizational setting.

Students in this program have the ability to customize their learning experience through the selection of two speciality tracks. The program culminates with an internship where students will get practical, hands-on experience using the analytics skills in a workplace environment.

Our students are immersed in a wide portfolio of courses to enhance their professional communication skills, gain insight into organizational behaviour and human resources, develop an understanding of finance and marketing within private and public sector arenas, and expand their networks so that they can join the workplace as both technically competent and business literate.
