How do I Register in Courses?

1. Summer Activate
  • Via Student Services
  • Can be done starting March 1st
  • Summer activate at least 72 hours in advance of registering for courses
2. Register in Courses
  • Via Student Centre
  • Web Registration start dates can be found here

Not sure Which Course(s) you Should Take? -- create a tentative list and then see an Academic Counsellor via drop-in counselling

Courses at another University (by Letter of Permission)


What to Do:

  1. Visit the other university's website for a description or course outline of the course(s) that you wish to take
  2. Print off the course description / course outline and meet with an academic counsellor during drop-in counselling hours
  3. You may need to obtain Departmental signatures (the academic counsellor will advise)

 DEADLINE? -- the last day to submit the completed form to the Academic Counselling Office is April 11, 2012.

IMPORTANT NOTE -- Once your form has been completed, it can take 2 to 3 weeks before it is received by the other university.  In most cases, the form must be received by the other university before you can register in courses.  So check deadlines for registration at the other university carefully.
