Eldercare is an
extremely emotional and taxing issue. Please review the Community Care
Access Centre of London and Middlesex (CCAC) website located at:
http://www.ccaclm.on.ca/.
Long-term care facilities
(nursing homes and homes for the aged) are licensed and receive partial
funding from the Ontario Ministry of Health. Resident payments for care
are standard throughout the province. Applications to enter a long-term
care facility must be made through the Community Care Access Centre
(CCAC).
For more information contact the CCAC office at (519) 473-2222 or 1-800-811-05146.
