Science at Western recognizes the need to enhance the awareness of diversity issues amongst all members of the Faculty. To accomplish this, there is an ongoing development of strategies for the recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty, staff, post-doctoral fellow and student body and a means to oversee their implementation. As these practices advance a healthy workplace culture, issues concerning wellness and work-life balance are also addressed in this section.
At the same time, the Faculty is dedicated to the co-ordination and enhancement of the many and varied outreach and recruitment activities at the Department, Faculty, and University levels.
