The Language of Difficult Conversations

The interpersonal and linguistic skills required to engage in difficult discussions are crucial to success in your academic, professional, and personal lives. Resolving difficulty involves being able to articulate your position appropriately to achieve positive outcomes and enhance relationships. You will learn about the cultural and linguistic components of these skills in this workshop. This workshop is intended for international and new resident graduate students. Postdocs will be considered if sufficient space permits.

Dates: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (1 1/2 weeks)
             June 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28

Times: 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Location: Teaching Support Centre, Room 120, The D.B. Weldon Library
Registration: Opens June 4
