The London Convention Centre Over 600 people attended this brand new event, including 350 students and trainees, and 130 judges. Research presentations spanned 13 different categories, from children’s health and aging to biomedical imaging and surgical innovation. Together, participants represented health science labs throughout Western University, London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London. Keynote Speaker Dr. Jon Stoessl is a Professor and Head of the Division of Neurology at the University of British Columbia and holds a Canada Research Chair in Parkinson's Disease. He is the Director of both the Pacific Parkinson's Research Centre and the National Parkinson Foundation of Canada Center of Excellence. He is a world leader in research pertaining to Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and movement disorders, and is a member of the Order of Canada, as well as a University of Western Ontario alumnus.
