The Office of Research Ethics offers a wide variety of workshops and seminars that are focused towards the needs of specific groups or individuals. Typical workshops include training for those new to the ethics review process, ethics submission process or those who may be having difficulty with the ethics approval process. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a group, or one-on-one, appointment.
This training will cover how to use Romeo to submit a protocol for ethics approval. Topics covered will range from logging-on to the system, submitting a protocol, submitting post-approval event forms, and tips on a successful submission through Romeo.
These training sessions are open to all faculty, students and staff who will be submitting to the Non-Medical and Health Sciences Research Ethics Boards.
Attendees are welcome to bring a laptop for a more hands-on learning session, although Romeo will be projected on a screen for those without one.
