The international Eppendorf & Science Prize for Neurobiology is awarded annually to one young scientist for the most outstanding neurobiological research based on methods of molecular and cell biology conducted by him/her during the past three years.

A $25,000 personal prize awarded annually to a young neurobiologist, not older than 35 years and having received an advanced degree in the field in the last 10 years, for outstanding neurobiological research based on methods of molecular and cell biology conducted or directed by him/her during the past three years. As well as the $25,000 prize, the winner?s essay is published in Science and Science Online

Application Details: Nomination Process A complete entry is submitted via the online form along with a 1000-word essay describing the research; One-page letter of reference from supervisor or other senior mentor in the field; CV: Copies of the publications most relevant to the essay
NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
