Description: |
This program is designed to attract young researchers into the field of HHT. If you hold a Ph.D. and are not more than 5 years beyond completion of your post-doctoral training than you are encouraged to apply for one of (5) $30,000 research grants to be awarded in 2015. The research project must be conducted under the supervision of a mentor who is an established investigator with an active and productive research program. A letter of intent is due by December 15, 2014. Letter of Intent is limited to 1 page, including a summary of the project and details regarding eligibility of the applicant.

Letter of Intent is limited to 1 page, including a summary of the project and details regarding eligibility of the applicant.
Applications are limited to 5 pages, excluding references, and must include:
1.Cover letter from the applicant describing the aims of the project and research interests
2.Mentor Biosketch information
3.Letter of support from the supervisor and Department Chair
4.Lay Summary along with a statement of the impact the potential impact of the research
5.Curriculum Vitae for the investigator and the research mentor including listing any publications published in press and submitted
Invited applications will undergo a peer-review process based on structured review criteria, by the Cure HHT Research Program.NO OVERHEAD OR INDIRECT COSTS WILL BE PROVIDED. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
