Applicants can apply to the Complementary Funding And Development Grant Initiative (CFDGI) under one of 4 different priority areas: PRIORITY 1 : Community Based Research and Training PRIORITY 2 : Research Communication, Educational Activities and Products PRIORITY 3 : Training and Mentorship PRIORITY 4 : Seed Funding / Research Planning Grant

Nasivvik strongly encourages all applicants to contact the appropriate regional Inuit Research Advisor during the preparation of their applications to discuss the work being proposed. Current contact information for the Inuit Research Advisors can be requested through the Nasivvik Centre Coordinator.

Application Details: Please refer to the document "Project Proposal Preparation Guidelines?" found on http://www.nasivvik.ca/media/docs/lega508ecb7c397d8-2012-12cdfirfp.pdf to complete your proposal. Please submit the proposal to the Nasivvik Centre Coordinator electronically at the address below, as soon as possible. Proposals will be reviewed as they are submitted starting November 5, 2012 (by midnight) and responses will be provided within 2 weeks of proposal submission. Proposals will be awarded funds until 5 proposals are funded for 2012- 2013. Ongoing results of the competition will be posted on the Nasivvik Centre website (www.nasivvik.ulaval.ca) and candidates will be contacted directly through e-mail.
NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
