The National Pork Board is soliciting research proposals dealing with following research topics: ANIMAL SCIENCE - Swine Nutrition; ANIMAL WELFARE - Animal Welfare; HUMAN NUTRITION - Human Nutrition; PORK SAFETY ? Pre-Harvest; SWINE HEALTH ? PRRS; SWINE HEALTH - Foreign Animal Disease

To be considered for committee review, all proposals must be submitted via the website by 5:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. See www.pork.org/research for links. Proposals will be reviewed by both technical advisors and pork producers prior to the committee selection meetings. Final funding is subject to approval by the National Pork Board and USDA.

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
