Description: |
The Canadian Psychological Association Foundation wishes to support student research in all areas of psychology. Applications are sought to support student research projects.
The applicant (or in the case of joint submissions, the applicants) must be an undergraduate or graduate student affiliate member of the Canadian Psychological Association. Funding up to $1000 is available per project. For 2012, ten awards will be made. The excellence of the proposal will be the primary criterion in making awards. |

Application Details: |
The proposal normally should be submitted electronically as an email attachment (Microsoft Word or PDF format ) to cpa@cpa.ca, with "Student Grant Application" as the subject of the email.
A statement from the student's department chair that the department supports the student's application, how the funds will be administered (e.g., trust account or other account requiring head's or advisor co-authorization) must accompany the submission.Documentation of submission to the applicant's institutional research ethics board (REB) must accompany every submission. Applicants may submit only one application per year. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
