Description: |
MDP funding can cover elements including fieldwork costs, equipment, researchers' salaries, and graduate students' stipends (stipends should be included only for activities contributing to the project while in the field or processing the documentation materials). Project duration is from 6 to 36 months. Funding for these projects typically ranges from anything above ?10,000 up to a maximum of ?150,000. We encourage you to submit quality proposals that provide value for money and are clearly justified. Please read the Guidelines and Terms & Conditions carefully before completing and
submitting your application. |

Application Details: |
ELDP welcomes applications from researchers of any nationality to undertake projects in any part of the world. Applicants should be researchers with qualifications in linguistics and experience in linguistic fieldwork (including suitably qualified graduate students). Projects may be undertaken by teams or individuals. MDP welcomes applications from established principal investigators. Note that salary for the main PI who is holding an established research position is not eligible. Also MDP will not be providing salary as extended post-doc projects.The online application must be submitted by 5pm GMT on 15th January 2014. The hard copy must arrive by 15th February 2014. Late or incomplete applications will be disregarded. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
