Mitacs Globalink introduces Canada as a world-leading research and innovation destination to top undergraduate students from around the world during a 12-week (May ? September) research internship.Mitacs, along with our generous funding partners, is offering Canadian professors an opportunity to work with exceptional undergraduate students from India, China, Brazil, and Mexico .
This is a fully-funded opportunity to engage an exceptional, international student in a 4-year undergraduate or 5-year dual degree program for an approximate 12-week research internship in the summer of 2014. This program is open to all disciplines. We encourage research project submissions not only from the STEM disciplines, but also Health Sciences, Business, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, etc. We would like to bring students from a variety of disciplines to Canada to take part in this unique opportunity and experience

Application Details: |
Canadian faculty members interested in hosting a top international undergraduate student for a 12-week internship in the summer of 2014 are invited to submit research project proposals.Professor projects are due before July 31, 2013
Student applications due before September 30, 2013
Professor project submissions will need to include the following:
A description of the research project;
Details on the role of the student in the research, including the expected learning outcomes;
Any specific skills or areas of knowledge required for the student to effectively carry out the research |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
