Description: The primary purpose of The Amyloidosis Foundation (the "AF") in funding scientifically meritorious research is to advance its mission to eradicate Amyloidosis as a life threatening disease.

Application Details:

The grant program supports two research areas, basic scientific research and translational research. Applicants will have completed their doctoral studies or clinical fellowship more than ten (10) years prior to application to this program. Although a mentor is not a requirement, the involvement of one will be considered in the feasibility review of the proposal.

The Research Grant Application has been developed to allow for electronic submission. The application is in Microsoft Word Format. Within the document there are form fields where the information is to be typed. Any additional information requested on a separate sheet of paper should be submitted as .PDF files along with this application. The applications are to be submitted to info@amyloidosis.org.

INDIRECT COSTS OF 15% MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE PROJECT BUDGET

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
