The CBMRN launches a call for proposals to respond to the new vision for the second phase of the network, ?Sustainable production of safe, high-quality milk.? The CBMRN invites all its member scientists and non-member scientists to submit research proposals. Proposals have to be sent to Annik L?Esp?rance (annik.lesperance@umontreal.ca) by June 14th, 2010 (midnight ? Eastern Time) |

Application Details: |
This call for proposals involves $1,000,000 and will establish the CBMRN scientific contribution to the Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC)?s Dairy Science Cluster funded through Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Growing Forward program. Projects that contribute to CBMRN?s DFC Dairy Science Cluster objectives will get underway by November 2010 and final progress reports will be due November 2012. Please add a ? page lay summary (outside of the 5 page limit) to your proposal. This will aid the non-scientists on the CBMRN Scientific Committee and will not be a formal part of the review process. The CVs will need to be presented on NSERC form 100.INDIRECT COSTS OF 40% MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE PROJECT BUDGET |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
