Description:

Research projects may address all aspects of CNS and spinal cord lesions, nerve regeneration, neuroprotection, trophic support of lesioned neurons, and functional changes induced by lesions preferentially in mammals.

Projects will be funded on the basis of scientific quality and relevance to paraplegia for research proposals studying mechanisms of injury and repair, as well as long term recovery. Applications from start up groups are welcome.

Application Details:

Clinical research projects can be situated in the fields of diagnosis, acute lesion management including surgery, neurology, urology, rehabilitation, and other areas related to paraplegia.

INDIRECT COSTS MUST NOT BE LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
