Description: |
Knowledge Development and Exchange (KDE) is a function central to health promotion and chronic disease prevention. The purpose of the KDE Component of the Healthy Living Program is to support time-limited, specific activities that contribute to objectives within the policy framework of the ISHLCD. Funding from all levels of government (federal, provincial/territorial and municipal) must not exceed 95 per cent of the project eligible expenditures. Your organization and/or its partners must contribute at least five per cent of the total project value in cash and/or in-kind (in goods and/or services). |

Application Details: |
The goal of the KDE Component of the Healthy Living Program is to contribute to improved health outcomes and reduced disparities by strengthening the activities and responses of organizations and individuals related to healthy living through facilitation of an active and continuous exchange of healthy living knowledge. Projects must be national in scope. Applicants must submit hard copies of the full proposal to the PHAC Program Consultant. Additionally, an electronic version using either Word or Word Perfect format is required.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO BE INCLUDED |
NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
