Description: |
The Ministry is seeking applications for a series of research syntheses that capture up-to-date evidence from a variety of disciplines to explain the developmental pathways of school-aged children, adolescents and young adults as they transition to adulthood. As a guideline, the general age-cohort for this research initiative is age 7-25. Through this call, MCYS is seeking applications for research syntheses from a range of
disciplines that compile up-to-date evidence on the development of school-aged children and
youth (age 7-25) across multiple domains/dimensions (e.g. social, emotional, physical,
cognitive, spiritual, etc.). |

Application Details: |
The purpose of this call is to support research that will benefit the child and youth service sector and the academic community by creating access to evidence for those who can use it in their daily work. The results of this call will also support the ministry's development of a Youth Policy Framework. Proposals should be submitted by email to Laura Flynn-Northcote, Senior Policy Analyst, Strategic Planning and Analysis Branch, at laura.flynn-northcote@ontario.ca. Proposals will be accepted until Friday, September 17, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. (EST).INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
