Description: |
The Research Scholars Program provides support to young men and women who are
interested in pursuing a career in urologic research.
The AUA Foundation Research Scholars Program provides a valuable opportunity for
young scientists to begin a career in urologic research at a time when many urology
departments across the country are faced with budget challenges that limit research
capabilities. One-year and two-year fellowships for M.D.s and Ph.D.s are available for
the 2012 Research Scholars Program. The AUA Foundation requires Applicants to submit proposals electronically beginning July 1st as detailed on UrologyHealth.org/research/RSP/intro.cfm. Applicants can link to this URL and complete their Applicant, project and Mentor information online, download an agreement form and upload a complete proposal document as a PDF file. The deadline for submitting applications is 5:00 p.m. LOCAL time on Thursday, September 8, 2011. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
