Description: |
The Hearing Foundation of Canada (THFC) supports new research initiatives that have scientific merit, particularly those from young investigators. The primary purpose of the research funding is to support operating expenses rather than capital equipment. At this time, our focus is on biological and clinical research projects. |

Application Details: |
Proposals for research funding must pertain to the cause, prevention, intervention and cure for hearing loss. Both basic and clinical research proposals will be considered. The Hearing Foundation encourages interdisciplinary collaboration. Proposals for projects that include scientific work done by collaborators who are not co-investigators must include a letter of agreement to collaborate. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
