Description: |
With the SPARK program, the Ontario Genomics Institute (OGI) seeks to provide catalytic funding for high-impact, high-risk and/or early-stage technology development in genomics sciences. OGI will provide individual awards of up to $30,000 to be used for short duration (6-12 months) research projects performed in Ontario (at academic, industry or other institutions). Awarded projects will be focused on discrete, unique and transformative technology development relevant to genomics, with outcomes enabling follow-on investment for further research or development. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
