Description: |
All subject areas may apply. This award is funded by the Office of the Vice-President (Resarch and International Relations) to support the cost of research initiatives social scientific in nature, but need not be housed in traditional social science areas of the University. The maximum award is $3,000 These awards are to support the cost of research projects of modest scope. Applications may be made for new research initiatives. Requests for funds to supplement existing operating or research grants, to augment funds for larger projects (funded or applied for), or to attend conferences generally will not be accepted. Separate applications, for the same project over several years, will not be funded. |

This program is administered by the Internal Grants Co-ordinator in Research Development and Services under the general terms of reference outlined in the Research on Teaching Program guidelines.Application forms and program guidelines are reviewed and possibly updated each competition. Completed proposals will be administered in electronic format only. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
