Only researchers from Robarts Research Institute are eligible to apply. Created by an endowed donation from Petro-Canada, this program recognizes, promotes and supports the work of new researchers at Robarts Research Institute, whose work is particularly innovative, impacts positively on the learning environment at Robarts, and has the potential to be of significance to society at large. The program is intended to help attract and retain bright young minds at Canadian Universities, colleges and major research institutes and to help new researchers launch their scholarly careers and enable them to carry their research forward. Faculty members and post-doctoral fellows who work in a laboratory at Robarts Research Institute are eligible from the date of their initial offer of appointment at a university up to their 8th year on faculty. Where the researcher does not have an eligible research appointment, the researcher?s Director may apply as the PI on his/her behalf. |

Please note that application forms and guidelines are reviewed and possibly updated prior each competition.The program is administered by Research Development & Services under the general terms of reference outlined in the PCYIA guidelines. The competition is held once per year. Completed proposals and results will be administered in electronic format only. NOTE IMMEDIATELY BELOW IS NOT APPLICABLE. |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
