The Canada Graduate Scholarships Master's Awards administered by CIHR are intended to provide special recognition and support to students who are pursuing a Master's degree in a health related field in Canada. These candidates are expected to have an exceptionally high potential for future research achievement and productivity. The CIHR HIV/AIDS Community-Based Research (CBR) Program assists community-based organizations, non-governmental organizations and institutions in developing the knowledge necessary to carry out their HIV/AIDS work in the most effective manner, and in creating expertise within these communities to conduct their own research. |

Application Details: |
The objective of the Government of Canada's Canada Graduate Scholarships program is to help ensure a reliable supply of highly qualified personnel to meet the needs of Canada's knowledge economy.
The award for which support is being sought should be under the supervision of a researcher who holds research funds obtained through a recognized competitive peer review process. To complete your Application, follow the instructions identified in the Master's Awards - ResearchNet "Application" Phase Instructions. Scan and upload the signed signature pages including the routing slip in the Print/Upload Signature Pages task in ResearchNet prior to submitting your application.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS PROGRAM. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
