Fellowship provide support for highly qualified candidates at the post-PhD or post-health professional degree stages to add to their experience by engaging in health research either in Canada or abroad This program provide recognition and funding to academic researchers early in their career and to provide a reliable supply of highly skilled and qualified researchers. Funds are available for this competition to support Fellowship award applications in specific research areas. Priority Announcements on Fellowship competitions offer additional sources of funding for highly rated applications that are relevant to specific CIHR research priority areas or mandates. Applications are submitted through the "201102MFE" competition of the Fellowship: 2010-2011 funding opportunity.

Application Details: |
Applications will be accepted in all areas of health research. Candidate must hold, or be completing a PhD or a health professional degree. PRIORITYANNOUNCEMENT FOR SPECIFIC RESEARCH AREA AVAILABLE ON CIHR WEBSITE. Your Application will be submitted using ResearchNet. Scan and upload the signed signature pages including the routing slip in the Print/Upload Signature Pages task in ResearchNet prior to submitting your application. To complete your Application, follow the instructions identified in the Fellowship Award - ResearchNet "Application" Phase Instructions" along with any additional instructions found below under ?Specific Instructions?.
Applicants to the October competition are not eligible to apply to this February competition.

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures).
