Applicants must be current members of ACSM at the time of submitting an application to be funded. Applicants for student research grants must have graduate student status during the term of the grant to be considered for funding. The deadline for applications is 11:59 pm EST on January 20, 2017. |

Application Details: |
ACSM Foundation Research Grants for doctoral students up to $5,000 for a one-year period. The awards are to be used for experimental subjects, supplies, and small equipment needs. Doctoral students enrolled in full-time programs are eligible to apply. Applications are now being accepted for 2017-2018 funding. To access the application, please visit http://acsm.force.com/ to access the ACSM Foundation portal. All application information and supporting documents will be submitted via the portal ? no hard copies or applications submitted by email will be accepted. Applicants selected for funding will continue to utilize the portal for post-award document submission.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS PROGRAM. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
