Description: |
Voucher for Industry Association R&D Challenge (VIA) connects industry associations or groups of companies with Ontario's publicly funded academic research institutions to address sector-wide research and development challenges.
VIA projects focus on challenges identified by an industry sector where business solutions have demonstrable global market potential. Project outcomes include commercialization and increased productivity with significant economic impact for Ontario (jobs, revenues etc.) and program partners. Companies may use research results to their own and/or their supply chain's commercial advantage. OCE has issued an open Call for Proposals for the VIA program to identify new industry associations or industry consortium partners aligned with Ontario?s priority sectors that have an interest in accelerating innovation through game-changing research leading to successful commercialization. |

Please see sponsor website for full details.Applicants work with an OCE Business Development Manager throughout the application process. The funding process is competitive. Expressions of Interest and/or applications will be reviewed by a panel created by OCE and the program co-investing partner. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
