OCE's Technical Problem Solving program supports short-term projects between industry and academia that address specific technical challenges or opportunities identified by the industry partner that will have a commercial impact. The projects focus on quickly applying research and technical expertise to solving industry-identified problems to speed innovative products and services to market.
The industry-academia partnerships created from this program extend well beyond commercial impact. Technical Problem Solving helps Ontario companies accelerate their business by improving customer satisfaction and increasing sales, while giving students real-world industry experience to help them advance their career path. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
