Description:

Carbon Management Canada Inc. (CMC) is a national research network focused on carbon management in Canada's fossil energy sector. Carbon Management Canada Inc. is a federally funded Network of Centres of Excellence, with multiple provincial, academic and industry partners. ?In addition to its fossil fuel focus, CMC-NCE is now encouraging research to develop strategies to eliminate and reduce CO2 emissions from mining, metallurgical operations and construction materials manufacture.

** PLEASE NOTE: The Letter of Intent is DUE on 9 December 2011 ** Only those with successful LOIs will be invited to submit the Full Proposal.

Application Details:

Proposals are invited for innovative ambitious research with potential to make a substantial impact on greenhouse gas emissions in fossil fuel use and recovery. To submit, an applicant must be a member of the Carbon Commons.

The online application system is on the Carbon Commons. You must be a member of the Carbon Commons in order to submit a proposal. If you are not already a member you will need to register. Letters of support must accompany the proposal at that time. Scanned copies of researcher signatures and any needed institutional approvals must be submitted with the Full Proposals. The online system will accept uploaded files. Please see website for more detail.

INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
