Description: |
This Announcement of Opportunity (AO) is an initiative under the CSA Class Grant and Contribution (G&C) program and is aimed at funding a number of projects that will carry out scientific investigations using space-based atmospheric observations, possibly in combination with space-based Earth-surface observations. These investigations will help advance understanding of physical and chemical processes of the atmosphere as well as Earth-surface processes that affect atmospheric composition, and stimulate the development of models that capture this understanding. The new knowledge and resulting model advancement will help to improve forecasting and prediction capabilities that contribute to increasing societal resilience to impacts of climate change. Applicants are asked to read the following AO thoroughly before submitting their applications. This AO was prepared to help applicants complete the application process and outlines key elements, including mandatory criteria for eligibility, details on eligible projects, and the selection process. In the event of any discrepancies between this AO and the individual funding agreements governing a project, the latter document(s) will take precedence. |
