Description:	The primary aim of this fellowship is to provide highly qualified Medical Doctors (M.D.) with clinically applicable research training opportunities and support. Applicants must either an M.D. in a Ph.D or MSc. program at an Ontario university or in a combined M.D./Ph.D or MSc. program at an Ontario university Please note this funding opportunity is not an additional PSI operating grant. Application Details:	The award funds may be divided into three (3) categories: 1. a stipend for the fellow 2. allowance for fringe benefits, which may include tuition reimbursement, professional travel, research expenses 3. Mentor directed funds- this budget item allows the mentor a maximum of $5,000 per year to direct funds to support the fellowEach of Ontario?s six medical universities may submit up to two candidates; therefore, all applications must be submitted through your medical university. To be eligible for consideration, applications must contain all requested information in full, including the required signatures on the paper copy.
NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission.
