Description: |
The Kidney Foundation of Canada is offering a limited number of Fellowships designed to provide for full-time academic and research preparation at the doctoral level. The objective of this program is to promote and enhance the development of nephrology/organ donation allied health investigators in Canada. The Fellowship award is for a period of up to two years and will normally commence on July 1. The award will be determined by the Allied Health Scientific Committee based on the application and the applicant's level in the program. |

Application Details: |
Preference will be given to applications submitted by allied health professionals, including but not limited to, nurses, psychologists, social workers, technicians, biomedical engineers, dietitians, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to the area of nephrology or organ donation, with a focus on increasing the number of kidneys available for transplantation, in either direct clinical practice or research experience. Applicants must be accepted in proposed course of full-time study. Deadline dates indicate the latest acceptable date for courier-stamped applications. Applications must be submitted on the prescribed current forms, which are available on the Kidney Foundation of Canada website. Please ensure that you are using the current Kidney Foundation of Canada Allied Health Doctoral Fellowship forms as no other form will be accepted for this competitionINDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS PROGRAM. |
NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
