Description:

Crohn's and Colitis Canada invites applications for funding novel or innovative approaches to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research. "Innovations in IBD" is intended to stimulate and support IBD related research which may not be encompassed within the boundaries of other research funders.

This competition will fund innovative projects deemed scientifically excellent, will refine hypotheses and/or produce preliminary data that will help seed larger projects and have the potential to improve diagnosis, therapy or prevention of IBD. Please review the sponsor's guidelines for full details.

Application Details:

The Principal Investigator can be a postdoctoral fellow or someone with a faculty or equivalent appointment at the institution. There can be only one Principal Investigator for each proposal. The applicant institution must be a nonprofit, charitable institution, such as a university, hospital or research organization. Applications are accepted from institutions within Canada only.
