related complications. As well as population health, health services, diabetes education,
community and practice-based research. Operating grant applicants (Principal and Co-investigators) must have a doctoral degree (MD, PhD, DSc, DDS, PharmD, DVM or equivalent) and an independent faculty position with institutional support at a university or research institution in Canada. |

This Program requires that a PI complete and submit a Registration Form by CDA's deadline date. Please see Agency guidelines for more information.
Use this program if you are renewing an existing Grant - In - Aid Operating Grant registration form must be submitted electronically to CDA by December 1,
2010. The form is available at http://www.diabetes.ca/for-professionals/research/2011-
competition/. The completed forms must be submitted to research@diabetes.ca by 11:59 pm
(EST) December 1, 2010. The information provided in the form will allow CDA staff and review panel Chairs to prepare for review of your grant. Full electronic application and hard copy signature pages must be submitted to CDA by February 1, 2011. Further details regarding the electronic application submission process will be available in December 2010. ***New for 2011: Applications will be submitted in electronic format only. Only the signature pages are to be submitted in hard copy.INDIRECT COSTS MUST NOT BE LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
