Description: |
Doctoral Student Research Awards provide recognition and support for exceptional students pursuing a doctorate degree in the field of diabetes in Canada. Candidates are expected to have an exceptionally high potential for future research achievement and productivity. Please see program guidelines for detailed information. For Doctoral Student Research Award applications, official transcripts must be scanned and uploaded. See section 2.10 of the guidelines for details. Please retain the paper copy(ies) of any uploaded transcripts as you may be asked to provide these to CDA for as an audit may be performed during the peer review process. |

Application Details: |
Students who are enrolled in a full-time graduate program in diabetes research are eligible for support. At the time of applying the candidates must have completed at least 12 months of graduate study at the Master's or PhD level, and have been registered for no more than 36 months as a full-time student in a doctoral program. ***New for 2013: Applications will be submitted online in ResearchNet.***
The deadline date is 20:00 hrs EST February 1, 2013. Attachments must be uploaded in PDF format.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM. |

NOTE: All Letters of Intent and Full Applications must be processed through Research Development & Services for institutional approval. Requests for Institutional approvals should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. A ROLA Proposal (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean electronic approvals) is required for each submission. |
