Description: |
Research grants are intended to facilitate the scientific investigation of all aspects of cystic fibrosis.
All research grant applicants (initial and renewal), must advise the Foundation's office of their intent to apply for funding. The application process is comprised of two steps: 1. Notice-of-Intent to Apply and 2. Full Application. Research grants are intended to facilitate the scientific investigation of all aspects of cystic fibrosis.
ONLY those who have submitted a notice of intent will be eligible to submit a full application. |

Application Details: |
Only one initial grant may be submitted to the October competition.A principal investigator should hold a recognized, full-time faculty appointment in a relevant discipline at a Canadian university or hospital 1 paper copy of the completed application form (with original signatures), plus any reprints and manuscripts being submitted in support of the application. 1 PDF copy of the complete application on a CD. The PDF must be a single file containing all sections of the application form and all appended pages, reprints, manuscripts, etc., in the correct order. If needed, combine multiple PDF files into a single file before copying onto the CD. The CD itself must be labelled and the PDF file must be named as follows: 2009_initial OR renewal (select appropriate one)_surname_given name. Completed applications and all supporting materials will be accepted only if hand-delivered to the Foundation?s office by 5:00 p.m. EDT on October 1st OR courier-marked on/before midnight on the deadline day of October 1st.INDIRECT COSTS ARE NOT LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
