These awards are for graduates with an MD or PhD who wish to gain additional research experience, preferably in an established research environment that is not the one in which they gained their PhD or MD. All applications for funding must include an explicit statement defining the relevance of the proposed research to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. |

Application Details: |
The award is $40,500/year for PhDs and $50,000/year for MDs. Applications will not be accepted if the applicant is already in receipt of a post-doctoral fellowship or its equivalent. These fellowship awards include a $2,500/year travel allowance which is to be used solely for travel expenses, and will be issued to the supervisor.INDIRECT COSTS MUST NOT BE LEVIED ON THIS PROGRAM |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
