Description: |
The Department of Ophthalmology has established an endowment of funds from internal sources to provide funding for small research projects. Applications will be received using the same format as is used for the IRF and other granting agencies. This will facilitate the application to the IRF and other granting agencies. All budgets provided should detail costs for travel and presentation of the research if this is a resident research project. |

Application Details: |
Funds are granted with the expectation that an application go forward to the Internal Research Fund (IRF) (if eligible) at the Lawson Institute and/or other granting agencies in an effort to recoup the costs of the study.The application forms and project budget should be submitted to Mrs. Laurie Dawe by August 31, December 31 and April 30 for funds to be released by the end of the following month. |

NOTE: Letters of Intent and Full Applications are to be processed through Research Development Services for institutional signatures, and are to be accompanied by a completed RDAF form (bearing applicant, Chair and Dean signatures). Requests for Institutional signatures should be received no less than 3 days prior to the posted Sponsor deadline. |
